Power Yoga is a very unique combination of dynamic breathing and strong flow movement which creates a high-heat,
high-energy workout. Unlike any other yoga program, Power Yoga is a choreographed sequence of strength building
postures that flow into one another, unwinding tight joints and loosening muscles.
By staying with the Primary Series of Astanga Yoga, you will bring strength, flexibility and equanimity to you're life. Through out the whole class you are focusing on your breathing. I offer variations of the Poses (asanas) so even if you are new to yoga you will still benefit greatly. It is about Honoring where you are. It is not about who does the best pose. If you find that it is stressing you out or simply does not feel good, than slow down a little. My class is non competitive, and no matter what level you are at, you will reap all of the benefits that this form of excercise has to offer.
